     Born in Nambe, New Mexico, Ed grew up and lived in various Northern New Mexico communities before finally settling in Taos. His roots in New Mexico are as true and deep as the colors on his canvasses that seem to glow and pulse with life. Each painting evolves with a shimmering red undercoat that establishes the energy for what is to come. His subject matter often portrays the past life and customs that are the grounding force of the Southwest. 		Ed Sandoval
