I paint 'en plein air', (outside on location), to get the purest experience of light, color, sounds, and weather. I focus on what pulls me into a scene. Then that feature is exaggerated through line, color temperature, value contrast, composition and movement. All of these things are tumbled with the past and my current mood to emerge as a passionate piece of art.   .   .   Kit Lynch
