Since his birth in the Dolomite Mountains of Northern Italy, the creation of vibrant art has been a driving force in Carlo's
expressive life. This commitment was first translated into culinary art, leading to his becoming an internationally recognized
chef and restauranteur. It was a natural extrapolation when Carlo extended his talents into the world of painting. He was assisted in making the
transition to oils by notable Taos artists such as the late Rod Goebel, Walt Gonske, R.C. Gorman, the late J.P.Hughton and
Ray Vinella, to name a few.
