Although I paint other subjects, landscape is my first love.  I studied art at the University of Colorado, but never got to oils or landscape.  Living in Dallas, I took courses in oil painting, but still never attempted a landscape.   Moving to Taos ten years ago I have been fortunate to take classes with Ray Vinella and Don Ward, many times working 'en plein air".   .   .   Barbara Barrett
