Grant Besley grew up in Fort Scott, Kansas, moved to Joliet, Illinois and attended the University of Illinois and
Northwestern University. He studied with Charles Reid in Italy, Josh Falik at the Denver Art Students League, Tom Ware, Laura Mehmert and painter/sculptor Andi Mascarenas. Grant and and his wife, Joan reside in the artist Mecca of Taos, New Mexico where they continue to paint, sculpt, and study art.
Grant is a member of the Taos Society of Portrait Artists. |
